Technology has transformed our lives in many ways. It is also responsible for taking education from brick-and-mortar classrooms to virtual classrooms. Today, artificial intelligence has opened doors of opportunity for the intelligent classroom for automatic monitoring systems by analysing students' and teachers’ activity in the classroom environment. It can also predict an interactive classroom environment by analysing student-teacher engagement and participation levels. The EduNet(DRSTA) dataset contains data on students’ and teachers’ activities in the classroom environment based on our research paper “EduNet: A New Video Dataset for Understanding Human Activity in the Classroom Environment”. Researchers can freely access it (by filling out the request form) and develop various solutions to the education domain. In the era of artificial intelligence, by applying techniques of deep learning video processing, numerous tasks can be achieved for innovative implementation for smart classrooms and by leveraging AI in education.
